Terms of Service

1. Who we are

Sitehey is a service of JP Works LLC, a California limited liability company. We're located at 9100 Wilshire Blvd, Ste 725 E, Beverly Hills, CA 90212. Reach us at justin@sitehey.com.

in these terms, "sitehey", "we", "us", and "our" refer to that legal entity operating under the sitehey trade name. by using the service or paying us, you agree to these terms.

2. Service description

we build a custom website for your local business and host it. $1,200 once for the build, $149/mo for hosting and small edits. live within 1 business day after content and setup payment.

we design, build, and host custom websites for local los angeles businesses.

• $1,200 one-time setup. custom site, hosting setup, ssl, basic on-page seo, mobile-responsive layout.
• $149 per month hosting and edits. 1 batch update per month: up to 5 photo swaps and 2 copy edits, submitted together, live within 24h. larger changes quoted separately.
• delivery. your site is live within 1 business day after we receive your content and the $1,200 setup payment via stripe.
• 2 rounds of revisions before sign-off. each round is a batch of photo swaps and copy edits, submitted together. structural changes (new sections, layout overhauls, brand pivots, scope additions beyond the original brief) are case-by-case and quoted separately. the 7-day refund window starts when we deliver the first draft, not at sign-off; revisions don't pause the clock.

not included. e-commerce or payment processing, large media production (custom video), branding or logo design beyond what appears on the site, ongoing copywriting or campaign work, domain registration, edits beyond the monthly batch.

3. AI disclosure

sites are ai-drafted, human-reviewed before go-live. we don't fabricate hours, prices, services, awards, or testimonials.

what ai sees. publicly available business data and any content you provide directly to us.

what humans review. a person on our team reviews factual claims, runs a fabrication check, and signs off on copy and design before your site goes live.

no fabrication. our tooling is instructed not to invent business hours, prices, services, awards, or testimonials. if a claim cannot be verified from public sources or your own input, we use a placeholder rather than an invented one.

your responsibility. you are responsible for reviewing the final live site for accuracy before continued publication. errors flagged within 24 hours of go-live are corrected at no cost. how long we hold your data is covered in the privacy policy.

4. You own the site

you own the html, css, copy, and assets you provided. we own our templates, tooling, and process. you can request the exported files at any time, and on cancel we email them within 7 business days.

you own. the delivered html and css files, all brand assets and content you provided, and all final copy that appears on your site.

we own. our templates, build tooling, deployment infrastructure, and the process used to build the site. nothing in these terms transfers any of that to you.

on request, any time. we will provide exported html and css files via email within 7 business days of a request, whether or not you are cancelling, to justin@sitehey.com. you are responsible for re-hosting from there.

5. Right of publicity

lifestyle imagery on sitehey.com is ai-generated and not a depiction of any real business, person, or storefront.

6. Takedown of featured content

if your business appears on a sitehey-hosted page and you don't want it there, email us. we remove it within 24 hours.

if you find your business featured on a sitehey-hosted page and you do not wish to be featured, email justin@sitehey.com with the url. we will remove the page within 24 hours of receiving the email. there is no fee, no questions, and no requirement to provide a reason.

we use no biographic data, no contact details, and no proprietary information beyond what is publicly available. this obligation applies whether or not you have a business relationship with us.

7. Payment terms

stripe handles payments. statement descriptor reads sitehey-website. $1,200 at agreement, $149 same day each month after.

payments are processed by stripe. card statements display the descriptor SITEHEY-WEBSITE.

$1,200 setup. charged at agreement, before we begin building.

$149 monthly. auto-renewing on the same day each month thereafter, until you cancel.

failed payment. we allow a 3-day grace period after a failed charge. after that, the service is paused. service is restored on payment with no penalty if resolved within 7 days of the pause.

8. Refund policy

7-day flat full refund on the $1,200 setup, no questions. after that, no refund on setup. monthly $149 cancels anytime, no proration.

7-day flat refund. within 7 calendar days of the $1,200 setup charge, you can request a full refund by emailing justin@sitehey.com. no questions, no fee. your site is taken offline at refund.

after 7 days. no refund on the setup fee. the monthly $149 is cancellable any time, with no refund on the current month and no proration. your site stays live for 30 days after cancellation so you can migrate.

chargebacks.filing a chargeback after the 7-day window without first emailing us to resolve is a breach of these terms. we'd rather hear from you directly. we document service delivery (live url plus your acceptance email) and respond to disputes with that record. for the data side of a refund, see ccpa rights.

9. Term and termination

month-to-month after setup. cancel anytime, site stays live 30 days. we can terminate with 14 days notice for misuse, or immediately for illegal content.

term. the agreement begins on the effective date and continues month-to-month until terminated.

your cancellation. you may cancel at any time by emailing justin@sitehey.com. your site stays live for 30 days after cancellation as a grace period before being taken offline. no refund on the current month.

our termination. we may terminate for violations of the acceptable-use rules below with 14 days written notice, or immediately for illegal content.

10. Acceptable use

no illegal content, no harassment, no malware, no resale of the service.

you agree not to use the service or anything we host for you to: publish illegal content; harass, defame, or threaten any person; transmit malware or attempt to compromise the security of any system; reverse-engineer our templates, tooling, or process; or resell the service to third parties.

11. Service levels

99.5% uptime target. if we fall short by more than 24 cumulative hours of unplanned outage in a month, you get $149 credit on the next bill.

we target 99.5% monthly uptime for the hosted website. this target excludes scheduled maintenance (notified in advance), force majeure events, and outages caused by your actions or third-party services you have integrated.

service credit.if your site is unavailable for more than 24 cumulative hours of unplanned outage in a single billing month due to causes within our reasonable control, you receive a credit of $149 (one month's fee) applied to the next bill.

12. Warranties and disclaimer

we warrant the service substantially conforms to what we describe. everything else is as is.

we will provide the service substantially as described in section 2 during the active subscription. we will comply with applicable laws.

except as expressly stated in these terms, the service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. we make no other warranties, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. we do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fully bug-free.

13. Limitation of liability

cap is 12 months of fees you paid us. no indirect or consequential damages. exception: gross negligence or willful misconduct.

to the maximum extent permitted by california law, our total liability to you arising out of or related to these terms or your use of the service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

neither side will be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits or loss of business, even if advised of the possibility. these limitations do not apply to your payment obligations, either side's indemnification obligations under section 14, or damages arising from a side's fraud, gross negligence, or willful misconduct.

14. Indemnification

you cover us for content you give us. we cover you for our gross negligence or willful misconduct.

we cover you against third-party claims arising from our gross negligence, willful misconduct, or material breach of these terms, and will pay damages finally awarded against you on those claims.

you cover us against third-party claims arising from content you provide, your business operations, or your breach of these terms, and will pay damages finally awarded against us on those claims.

the side seeking indemnification must promptly notify the other, give the other sole control of defense and settlement, and cooperate reasonably. the indemnifying side may not settle a claim that imposes obligations on the indemnified side without prior written consent.

15. Governing law and disputes

california law, los angeles county courts. small claims preferred for disputes under $10,000. no arbitration.

these terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. the exclusive venue for any dispute is the state and federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California.

no arbitration. there is no arbitration clause in these terms. either side may file in the appropriate california court.

small claims preferred.for individual disputes under $10,000, both sides agree small-claims court in Los Angeles County is the preferred venue. it's cheaper and faster for both of us.

16. Notices

email us at justin@sitehey.com. we email you at the address on file.

notices to sitehey: justin@sitehey.com. notices to you: the email address on file at the time of purchase.

17. General

no assignment without consent. severability. these are the whole agreement. 30 days notice for material changes.

assignment.neither side may assign these terms without the other's written consent, except that we may assign to a successor in connection with a merger or acquisition.

severability. if any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full effect.

entire agreement. these terms, together with the privacy policy, are the entire agreement between us on this subject and supersede prior agreements or representations.

amendments. we may update these terms with 30 days written notice for material changes. your continued use after the notice period constitutes acceptance. you may cancel before the new terms take effect.

18. SMS and A2P 10DLC

if you give us your phone number, we may text you about your account. transactional only, not marketing. reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. full sms practices live in the privacy policy.

opt-in. by texting +1 (213) 567-9701 or by giving us your number during signup or support, you agree to receive transactional sms from sitehey: account notices, booking confirmations, and support replies. we don't send marketing texts.

STOP and HELP. reply STOP to any sitehey text to opt out of further messages. reply HELP for assistance.

frequency and rates. message frequency is low. message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile plan. mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

19. Effective date

these terms are effective as of may 4, 2026.
